About David Nicholson
David Nicholson was born in the north of Scotland, of English parents. He lived in English towns from the age of five, moving ever southwards until he settled in North London in 1989.
| An interest in writing was sparked at 15 when reading Goodbye to Berlin by Christopher Isherwood and The Alexandria Quartet by Lawrence Durrell, where he discovered that writers have greater freedom than other people, since they can always claim to be researching something or other. |
David Nicholson has finally given in to the urge to get cheesy pictures of himself with celebrities |
Nicholson prefers to think of his career as a perpetual extension of his education: no subject is off bounds and his criteria for taking on work is that it should be entertaining or informative and pay well. (It should preferably involve travel, fine dining and some kind of sport, but this is negotiable).
